Last week, the Cosmopolitan Karoo postgraduate students presented their research at STIAS.

The conference was co-hosted with the Institute for Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies (PLAAS).

The postgraduate conference provided the space for students who were not yet familiar with conference settings to become accustomed to the environment.

It was a successful conference which was both informative and productive especially emphasising the need for interdisciplinary work.
